Rowing Video Of The Week: Inside a Training Session, with Cal Women's Crew

Behind the Scenes at Briones (Photo: B. Kitch)

This week's RR original Video Of The Week features Cal Women's Rowing, training through winter break on Briones Reservoir in Orinda, California.

The Golden Bears have had a fantastic season so far, with the highlight coming as they headed east for the Head Of The Charles in Boston—suffice it to say, it was a worthwhile trip. Given their performance on the Chuck, the Bears came through the fall racing season atop our College Rowing Power Rankings. Last year, the Cal varsity eight came within one race, and roughly 0.5 of a second, of an undefeated season at the NCAA Rowing Championships.

The Buckeyes once again look very strong heading into the spring, but will 2016 be a different story?
